Courtney Regenauer, CYT200

Certification: CYT200, Yoga Therapy Level 1 in progress

Specialties: Breath practices, neuromuscular re-education of mind to muscles, stress relief techniques, postural analysis.

Training philosophy: I believe in the power of mind, body, and soul connection. When we begin to breathe properly, stretch properly for our unique bodies, and learn techniques to stay out of toxic drama cycles, we move towards happiness and freedom in our mind and body. Also with best breath practices and finding our range of motion we gain better awareness for our workouts. We recover faster, lift heavier, run faster, and enjoy more! I believe there are great benefits in paying attention to the small details of our mind and body. With our fast paced, stressful world we live in, slowing down and paying attention will help us bring more joy, confidence, and authenticity to our lives!

Background: I was born and raised in Altoona and have always had a passion for people and stretching! I found a yoga app in 2015 that I fell in love with and began my yoga training shortly after in 2016 at Yoga North Duluth ISYI (Internation SomaYoga Institute). I have completed my 200 hours and received my certification in 2017. I am currently taking the 500 hour level 1 Yoga Therapy training at Yoga North and am well on my way to becoming a Yoga Therapist. I enjoy teaching classes, working one-on-one, and just connecting with people in general. In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors, hiking, fishing, taking my pup on walks, kayaking, traveling — anything outdoors really! I also love doing my own yoga practice and workout routine, cooking delicious foods, dancing, and listening to live music when I can. You could definitely call me a free spirit or a jack of all trades as I enjoy so much in life. I feel thankful to be apart of this human experience, and I look forward to creating a space for people to heal themselves to a more free life.
